Cody Rhodes just made it clearhe wants to see his brother Dustin Rhodes finally get his flowers, and hes not staying quiet about it.
Speaking to Fox News, the Undisputed WWE Champion opened up about why he believes Dustin deserves a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, despite currently being tied to AEW. Cody didnt just speak from a place of family loyaltyhe made a solid case based on history, legacy, and impact.
And Ive oftentimes said my brother. I feel like he had more of an important role in the Attitude Era and moving forward. And I think hes extremely talented, Cody said. I think Id like to see that not just because I believe he deserves it, which he does, but Id love to see the family just more added.
Cody also touched on how deeply the Hall of Fame matters to his family, especially when it comes to honoring their legendary wrestling bloodline. The Hall of Fame doesnt mean the same to everybody if that makes any sense. To my family, the Hall of Fame is the thing the title and then the Hall of Fame.
Dustin, known to WWE fans as Goldust, spent over 15 years in WWE and was a major player during the Attitude Era. His impact is still felt in the business todayand Cody isnt the only one saying so. WWE legends like Jim Ross and The Undertaker have also voiced support for his induction over the years.
With Cody now being one of WWEs top stars, its hard to ignore how much louder that push just got.
