Tony Khans AEW Dynasty Media Call Highlights (4/3/25)
Tony Khan began by expressing his excitement for AEW Dynasty.
When Jon Alba asked about a report claiming AEW content on Max averages around 500,000 viewers per week, Khan said he was pleased with the report. He mentioned that while he doesnt get weekly updates and the numbers are kept confidential, hes been told the show is performing very well and is one of the top-streamed sports programs on Max.
Courtney Rice brought up the womens matches at Dynasty. Khan talked about Toni Storm vs. Megan Bayne for the AEW Womens Championship, describing it as a monster movie showdown between Storm, AEWs leading lady, and the dominant Bayne. He also mentioned Mercedes Mone vs. Julia Hart in the Owen Hart Cup tournament and promoted a womens tag team match set for Collision.
Alex Hunt asked if Tony Khan would allow Sting to appear at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, as Lex Luger had expressed interest in seeing him there. Khan said hes not sure, as the topic didnt come up during his last conversation with Sting, and his focus right now is on Dynasty.
Dominic DeAngelo asked about the spike bat spot during the match between Jon Moxley and Adam Copeland. Khan called the match a big success and said the moment was a hardcore risk that paid off, as the video has been viewed millions of times across platforms. He added that Moxley returned to the ring last night and will be wrestling again at Dynasty.

He noted theres still one more Collision episode before Dynasty and he hopes Bandido will respond when the moment feels right.
