Lex Luger has had an incredible wrestling career, and after years of waiting, he is finally being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Fans have been debating whether AEW should allow Sting to be the one to induct Luger, given their history as close friends and tag team partners and now, Tony Khan has addressed the situation.
While speaking during the AEW Dynasty media call, Alex Hunt asked Tony Khan if he would allow Sting to attend the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, since Lex Luger had expressed interest in having him there.
The AEW President responded by saying he was not really sure, as the topic had not come up in his last conversation with Sting. Right now, his main focus is on AEW Dynasty.
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff made it clear that WWE would openly welcome Sting to induct Lex Luger into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. However, the ball is ultimately in Tony Khans court and whether Sting inducts Luger or not depends on Khan.
With Sting retiring at AEW Revolution last year, his presence at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony would be an emotional moment for fans this year. It would also be a special opportunity to see one of Lex Lugers closest friends honor him on one of the most important nights of his career. Therefore, well have to see if Tony Khan will allow it in the end.
