Kevin Owens was supposed to square off against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41, and this match has been in the making for a long time. However, it appears that the match is now in jeopardy as Owens is currently dealing with an undisclosed injury.

According to a report by PWN, Kevin Owens is dealing with an undisclosed injury, and there is no set timeline for his return. With just 15 days until WrestleMania 41, his scheduled match against Randy Orton is now in jeopardy.

WWE has reportedly discussed backup plans for Orton, but no final decision has been made yet. Owens last wrestled on March 1st at Elimination Chamber in an Unsanctioned Match against Sami Zayn.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn had a very brutal match at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, due to which Sami Zayn has been away from WWE television but Owens still made frequent appearances on WWE programming since then.

With time running out, WWE must soon decide on Randy Ortons WrestleMania opponent. If Kevin Owens cannot recover in time, the company will need to find a replacement. Therefore, we will have to wait and see if Owens will be able to compete at the Showcase of the Immortals, as fans feel it would be a massive shame if he misses the event.

If Kevin Owens is unable to compete, who do you think should step in to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41? Should WWE wait for Owens, or is there another superstar who deserves the spot? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
