One of AEWs rising stars is Harley Cameron, who has become a fan favorite. Her creativity stood out with the introduction of Puppet Mon, and now the person behind the idea has been revealed.
While speaking on Talk is Jericho, Harley Cameron revealed that Puppet Mon was actually Mercedes Mons idea. She mentioned that when they talked about it after telling Mercedes she was a ventriloquist, Mercedes asked if she could ever make a puppet of her. Coincidentally, Harley had already been thinking about it at the time.
Harley ended up creating the puppet herself, purchasing the base while giving credit to Chris, the seamstress, for the hair and outfit. She even provided some of her own gear for the design, which Chris used to complete Puppet Mon.
Harley Cameron and Mercedes Mon had a memorable feud that culminated in a solid match at AEW Grand Slam: Australia, which saw Cameron put on the performance of her career but ultimately fall short in the end.
