Giulia is officially back. After weeks of speculation over her status in WWE, the Beautiful Madness finally stepped between the ropes again.
Giulia wrestled at the April 4 NXT live event in Crystal River, Floridamarking her first match since losing the NXT Womens Championship to Stephanie Vaquer at NXT Roadblock back on March 11.
Her return to in-ring action comes after a noticeable absence from training and drills, despite being spotted backstage and involved in limited non-wrestling segments. On a recent episode of the Fightful Select Podcast, Sean Ross Sapp addressed her situation when asked why Giulia had been missing from the ring. I have asked half a dozen people in the company about this and they said that Giulia is around, but hasnt been participating in class and drills since the Stephanie match, he said.
Sapp also noted, One person mentioned like a possible ankle thing. I dont know, Im working on it, but Ive heard that she has not been participating in classes.
That mystery only deepened when Giulia appeared at an NXT live show on March 22 and attacked Cora Jade, suggesting she was still part of active storylines. But now, after weeks of uncertainty, shes laced up her boots again and stepped into competitionquietly, without any formal return segment or announcement.
WWE still hasnt commented publicly on her time off, but fans were definitely watching this live event return closely. With Stand & Deliver just around the corner and original plans reportedly including Giulia in a major match, the timing of her return could change the game once again.
