It looks like WWE wasnt thrilled with just how personal things got between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton on SmackDownso much so, they pulled the footage.
During the April 4 episode of SmackDown at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, Flair and Stratton delivered a brutal, off-script promo that instantly went viral with fans. But now, in a telling move, WWE has deleted the clip from its official X/Twitter pagesignaling that something in the exchange may have crossed the line.
WrestleVotes previously noted that Charlotte & Tiffany said very little of what was in the rundown for them. Off script quite a bit, and it definitely showed. Stratton torched Flairs legacy and personal life, saying, Outside the ring you aint the queen of sht,* and mocked her failed marriages with, What is that, zero and three? Flair hit back with a dig about why Ludwig Kaiser is in your DMs, but WWEs decision to yank the footage suggests it may have gone further than they expected.
The verbal brawl was meant to build toward their title match at WrestleMania 41, but it turned into something raw and unfilteredand now its clear not everything said had company approval.
Charlotte Flair is scheduled to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Womens Championship at WrestleMania 41 in just two weeks, but fans are wondering if this shoot-style promo has caused some friction backstage.
Was WWE right to delete the segment, or should they lean into the realism heading into Wrestle Mania? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
