Andrade might have meant well, but his recent tweet to Charlotte Flair turned into a full-blown roast sessionbecause fans think theres more to the message than just birthday wishes.
On April 5, Andrade posted a tweet for his ex-wife, Charlotte Flair, on her birthday. The two tied the knot in 2022 but finalized their divorce in October 2024. Despite the split, Andrade kept it respectful, writing: Feliz cumpleaos @MsCharlotteWWE I wish you the best today and always! You are an incredible woman!
The tweet was meant to be sweet and supportivebut the internet wasnt having it. Fans immediately swarmed the replies, calling him out for what they believed was a thinly veiled attempt to get back on WWE TVor even back with Charlotte.
One fan clowned him with a brutal jab about his divorce from Charlotte, writing: Youre the 3 in 0-3 brother. A tweet wont get you back on TV again, referring to Charlottes recent on-air feud with Tiffany Stratton, where her divorce history was mocked live on SmackDown.
Another piled on with a catering joke that hit where it hurts, tweeting: Bros trying to make it out of catering, suggesting Andrades been MIA from meaningful TV appearances.
Someone else added a sarcastic take, writing: Finally making it out of catering, as if the birthday tweet was a calculated move to get noticed by creative.
It didnt stop there. Another fan mocked the idea of WWE reacting to the post, saying:
If WWE brought him back right after this tweet it would be hilarious
Then came the personal digs. One reply read: Brother, youre not on TV anymore because of her. Stop simping for your ex, amigo, implying Charlotte may have played a role in his recent absence from programming.
Another summed it up with: Bro tryna happy birthday his way back to his girl. He really just like the rest of us.
And one more kept it real simple: Send her that I miss you text bro!
The tweet came just days after Charlotte gave a raw and emotional interview about her difficult divorce and knee injury recovery. She admitted how hard it was to balance her personal and professional life, saying: I felt like I was failing at my job. I felt like I was failing at my personal life.
She also explained how painful the decision to file for divorce was, revealing: When I made the decision to file for divorce, the only thing I kept thinking was I just didnt want anyone to know. Oh my gosh, I have failed again.
Given the emotional weight of Charlottes recent comments, Andrades postregardless of his intentsparked the kind of attention he probably wasnt hoping for.
So, was Andrade just being polite and showing respect to someone he clearly still cares about? Or was this tweet his way of nudging his way back onto WWE TVor into Charlottes life?
