Chris Jericho had a great run in WWE before leaving in 2018 to help launch AEW in 2019 as one of its biggest stars. Even though hes been a major part of AEW, fans still wonder if he might go back to WWE someday, and now Jericho has addressed that possibility.
While speaking during the HRWF 2025 event, Chris Jericho was asked if he would ever consider a return to WWE now that things have changed there. He said he would have considered going back even before the changes.
In his view, youd be crazy not to think about it, especially since there are now two major companies to work for, which is part of why he took the risk of joining AEW in the first place.
Jericho explained that he would definitely consider going back to WWE, but hed also consider not going back. It all depends on the situation and where hes at personally and professionally when the time comes. For him, its not just about saying never say never, but about weighing all the options and making the smartest choice.
Le Champion also pointed out that throughout his career, hes never had an issue with change. Hes always been open to evolving, trying new things, and taking chances, and hes not afraid to continue doing that.
Chris Jericho made it clear that even though hes an important part of AEW, hes not completely against returning to WWE one day. His career keeps growing, and as wrestling fans know, anything is possible. Whether he goes back to WWE or not, Jerichos ability to keep things fresh and try new things means hell stay interesting in the wrestling world for a long time.
