After nearly three months out of action, Lucien Price is officially back in the ring. The NXT star returned during WWEs live event in Gainesville, Florida on April 5, reuniting with Bronco Nima as OTM for their first tag match since January.
Price hadnt wrestled since January 18, when he and Nima faced Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs in Melbourne, Florida. While Nima continued competing at NXT house shows, fans noticed Prices absence and began speculating. It was later revealed that hed been dealing with a hand injuryan issue that kept him sidelined for several weeks.
That time away is over now, but Price and Nima didnt walk away with a win. OTM took on Trick Williams and JeVon Evans in Gainesville and came up short. Williams and Evans have a lot of momentum right now as theyre both set to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver on April 19.
The loss wont be easy for OTM to swallow, but the return of Lucien Price is a major boost for the teams future. Meanwhile, Williams and Evans now turn their attention to the upcoming six-man tag match on April 8s episode of NXT, where theyll team with Femi to take on Darkstate.
With Price back in the mix and OTM back on track, the question now is whether they can regain the momentum they had before the injuryor if theyve lost their spot in NXTs competitive tag division.
Do you think OTM can bounce back after Lucien Prices return, or has the rest of the division passed them by? Drop your thoughts and let us know in the comments below.
