
AEW Dynasty is stacked from top to bottom, but now we finally know whos closing out the nightand its about to get personal.
According to Fightful Select, Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland was expected to main event the show as of today. Thats right, the AEW World Championship match is taking center stage, and fans in Philadelphia are in for a violent showdown.
To add even more weight to the match, Swerve Stricklands daughters and family are in Philly for tonights show.. That alone could signal this match could be a huge moment in Swerves careerand potentially a turning point in AEW.
Strickland is looking to repeat history after winning the AEW World Title last year by dethroning Samoa Joe. Now, hes trying to do it again by taking down Jon Moxley, whos been steamrolling the roster in his sixth title defense. Moxley has made it clear hes not giving up that title easily, but with Swerves family in the building, this could be more than just another matchit might be the storybook ending hes been chasing.
