AEW Dynasty 2025 took place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tony Khans company presented a full lineup of matches, including a match where the AEW World Tag Team Titles were on the line.
Big Bill and Bryan Keith faced The Hurt Syndicate for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. A few weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho told Bill and Keith that they needed to prove themselves. In response, they went after the top team in AEW.
This match was the second of the night, right after Will Ospreay won his Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match. Fans were chanting They Hurt People at the Hurt Syndicate, and they were ready to see action.
Big Bill was also on one during this match, as he sent both Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin out of the ring early on. This set the crowd on fire as the Hurt Syndicate took their time getting back into the ring.
Big Bill was even able to overpower Bobby Lashley, as he sent the All Mighty to the floor. At that point, MJF jumped out of the crowd to nail Bill so Lashley could spear him. MVP, who was on commentary, was very happy about having the Salt of the Earths help.
When they came back in, the Hurt Syndicate closed out the match as they pinned Bryan Keith. That was quite a win, and it came with MJFs help.
We will have to see what the future of the Hurt Syndicate looks like. At this point, anything is possible with so many talented teams ready to step up.
