The crowd in Philadelphia stayed active throughout the event as Tony Khans company presented a full lineup of matches. AEW Dynasty 2025 took place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Timeless Toni Storm defended the AEW Womens World Championship against Megan Bayne. Storm has been on a wild ride with her character, and now that the Timeless one is back, she faced one of her biggest challengers yet.
Toni Storm got a video entrance that made her out to be Rocky. This popped the Philly crowd, and they were more than ready to see the Timeless one in action.
Megan Bayne was able to take control of this match, and Penelope Ford was able to rub it in her face at ringside. Eventually, Luther came around to pluck Ford off the apron and take her away.
Timeless Toni Storm continued her match against Bayne, where she maintained control. Then she was able to land some serious moves, including a DDT off the middle turnbuckle and then she locked in an Indian Deathlock mixed with an STF.
This match continued, and Megan Bayne was able to come back as Toni Storm was relentless while kicking out of everything her challenger could throw at her. Then Storm came back with three hip attacks and a Storm Zero for a shocking near fall. That only made Bayne hype herself up more.
Megan Bayne hulked up and started taking Toni Storm down with clothesline after clothesline. Then she nailed a powerbomb before taking her time to get Storm back on her feet. She hoisted Storm up, but then Toni was able to grab a headlock and roll her up for a pinfall.
Toni Storm walked out of Dynasty as AEW Womens World Champion, but it was certainly a close one. Now Megan Bayne has even more validation on the AEW roster, despite the loss in Philly.
