Bandido Strips Jericho of ROH Gold After Family Exposes His Dirty Tactics at AEW Dynasty

Chris Jericho defended the ROH World Championship against Bandido in a Title vs. Mask match. The match took place at AEW Dynasty 2025. Jericho put his title on the line, while Bandido risked his mask. Theyve been going at it for weeks, with Bandidos brother, Gravity, getting roped into the situation, but this time everything is on the line.

This match went on after Kyle Fletcher beat Mark Briscoe in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match. Both men had a lot on the line, and the Philly fans were ready to see whatever went down.

Bandido and Jericho traded advantage of the match early on. The luchador was more than ready to take flight, as he did his best to chop the Learning Tree down. Eventually, Jericho grabbed Floyd, his trusty baseball bat, and he clubbed Bandido. Then he pinned the luchador to retain his title.

This was a huge loss for Bandido, because he lost his mask with this big defeat in Philly. Bandidos family was at ringside, and they were very upset. Aubrey Edwards allowed them to come to ringside, where they showed her the baseball bat that he hid by the steps. Then the referee ruled that the match must restart. Bandidos family was very happy about that.

Chris Jericho grabbed one of Bandidos family members, and she slapped him. Then Bandido kicked Jericho and finished off the Learning Tree to become the new ROH World Champion.

We will have to see what happens next, but ROH has a new World Champion. This was quite a massive win for him, and it concluded an impressive run as champion for Jericho. That being said, he wasnt happy about losing the title in Philly.
