After the cameras stopped rolling, Swerve grabbed the mic in front of a fired-up Philadelphia crowd and delivered a direct shot at WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, saying, Fuck Booker T.
The unexpected diss came just moments after Strickland failed to capture the AEW World Title in the main event against Moxley. While the loss stung, Swerve made it clear he still had something to sayand that message was personal.
This public shot stems from Booker Ts past criticism of Swerves marketability. On a previous episode of VladTV, Swerve responded to Bookers commentary by defending his impact and presence in AEW. That interview added more fuel to an already tense back-and-forth.
Booker T didnt waste time clapping back. On the newest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, the five-time WCW Champion fired back at Swerves post-show mic drop. While not all of Bookers comments were quoted in full, his tone made one thing clearthis feud isnt just about wrestling philosophy. Its about respect.
And all of this comes as Booker T is still deep in another social media battle with DJ Vlad, trading receipts about a VladTV interview Booker claims he turned down, while Vlad insists Booker was at the studio and stormed out when Vlad arrived late.
Now, between the DJ Vlad beef and this escalating drama with Swerve Strickland, Booker T has found himself back in headlinesfor better or worse.
