Jannik Sinner has left another player behind him on a notable list! World no. 1 is spending his 44th week on the ATP throne, leaving Gustavo Kuerten on 43 and holding a 13th spot on the eternal ATP list alone.

Sinner's next target is Jim Courier, who spent 58 weeks as world no. 1. The three-time Major winner will catch the American if he remains on the ATP throne by the end of July, which is very likely.

Jannik is serving his three-month suspension for two failed doping tests in March last year. However,his closest rivals have not managed to reduce the gap and challenge him.

He won his third Masters 1000 shield of the season in Shanghai over Djokovic, extending his incredible hard-court streak. Sinner was a player to beat at the ATP Finals in Turin. He beat five rivals in straight sets and collected his eighth ATP title of the season.

World no. 1 led Italy at the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga. Jannik and his teammates defended the trophy, and the 23-year-old ended the season with an incredible 73-6 score. Sinner was the favorite at this year's Australian Open.

The defending champion lost two sets in seven encounters, lifting his third consecutive hard-court Major crown and writing history. Off the court, Jannik had to think about his upcoming trial over those failed doping tests from March last year.
