The Undertaker may be retired, but dont think hes gone soft.

During the latest episode of WWEs Legends & Future Greats on April 6, 2025, The Deadman had a serious message for Elijah Holyfieldyes, the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfieldand it had nothing to do with his wrestling skills. Undertaker was less than thrilled about Holyfield stepping into the ring with a full set of jewelry.

Youre lucky that I am retired, The Undertaker told him. If I was to work with you and you got in the ring with that chain and those earrings in, I would rip them out.

Despite being impressed by Holyfields actual match, The Phenom couldnt get past the flashy accessories. Everything you did was on point today and I was distracted because you had earrings and a necklace on, he added.

This isnt just a fashion critique. Piercing-related injuries in wrestling are very realand very brutal. Jordynne Grace had a piercing torn out during NXT Battleground in 2024, and Rhea Ripley had her lip ring ripped out during a match on Raw. Even veteran Matt Bloom, aka Albert, once lost a nipple ring mid-match. So Undertakers warning? Not exactly empty words.

Holyfield may have raw talent, but if he wants to keep impressing legends like Undertakerand keep his ears intacthe might want to rethink the bling.

Do you think The Undertaker was out of line, or was he giving real veteran advice? Should wrestlers keep the jewelry out of the ring? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
