Bernard Tomic has no doubt that Novak Djokovic should be considered the greatest player in tennis history as the Australian thinks that Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer were no match for the Serb in his prime.

For years, the Serbian tennis star openly spoke about his desire to finish with the all-time Grand Slam and world No. 1 records. And in the end, he succeeded in that goal after getting to 24 Grand Slams and becoming the first player in tennis history to spend more than 400 weeks at the top spot.

But before Djokovic became the all-time Grand Slam recorder, Federer held the record for years. Then, the Swiss was overtaken by Nadal in 2022.

The majority are of the belief that the one with the most Grand Slams should be given the GOAT title. Since Djokovic also finished with winning records against Nadal (31-29) and Federer (27-23), some think that clears any doubt about who should be called the GOAT.

Tomic: No one could match a prime Djokovic, he is the GOAT

Novak in his prime, no one could match him for sure. When he was playing well, he was chopping Federer 6-2, 6-2, Rafa, 6-2, 6-1, he was that good man. You cant compete; hes the greatest of all time; there will be no one like him for sure. I played five times, the most out of them all, I lost five times," Tomic said on The Changeover Podcast.

Rafa, I only played twice, I believe, played him on grass in Stuttgart, lost 6-4 in the third, so I didnt play him too many times. Federer I played only two or three times, once I think was Davis Cup, 6-4 in the fourth."

After losing out on the Slam race to Djokovic, Nadal stated in one of his interviews that the Serb should be regarded as "the best ever" due to his accomplishments.
