WWE RAW took over the Target Center in Minneapolis on April 7, bringing plenty of momentum with WrestleMania 41 just under two weeks away. With tensions rising and surprises always looming, anything could unfold. El Grande Americano returned to action, adding another must-see moment to the night.
During the March 24 episode of WWE RAW, El Grande Americano made his big in-ring debut, and it didnt end well for Dragon Lee. This week on RAW, the masked man had another chance to wow fans with his amateur wrestling and luchador skills.
The match this week saw El Grande Americano team with the Creed Brothers to take on the LWO. This was a big match for him, and an interesting team indeed.
Although Chad Gable didnt get to perform in front of his hometown, his alter-ego did. El Grande Americano received an amazing reception on his way out this week for the six-man tag team match.
The LWO had a chance to show off their tandem skills, as they hit a trio of synchronized dives, and fans cheered for them. However, fans in Minneapolis still popped when the Creeds and El Grande Americano landed a trio of superplexes.
The two teams battled through a commercial break. The two teams continued the match, and eventually hot tags were made. The finish of this high-energy match came after Ivy Nile gave El Grande Americano something hard that he put in his mask, which he used to headbutt Rey Mysterio, but Mysterio wasnt in the match.Then Dragon Lee climbed up to the top rope and took one of those loaded headbutts before falling. Then El Grande Americano nailed a splash for the win.
We will have to see what is next for El Grande Americano. He is certainly playing dirty as a luchador in WWE.
