WWE RAW aired on April 7 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, with WrestleMania 41 set for April 19 and 20. With the event approaching, matches were announced, rivalries continued, and the direction for the two-night show became more clear.
WrestleMania 41 is set to feature Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns in the main event of one night of the two-night event. On this weeks episode of WWE RAW, CM Punk, Paul Heyman, and Seth Rollins all appeared, adding more build to the upcoming showdown.
CM Punk cashed in his big favor from Paul Heyman, meaning the Wise Man will be in the Second City Saints corner at WrestleMania. This was a big development, to say the least.
Paul Heyman was on WWE RAW this week in the final segment of the night. He started things out by saying that he will always be loyal to both CM Punk and Roman Reigns. That being said, he will never be disloyal to them either, but as he began to address what it means when it comes to WrestleMania, Seth Rollins music hit to interrupt Heyman.
Rollins riled the fans out, and then he asked Paul Heyman whose side hes on at WrestleMania 41, CM Punk or Roman Reigns. Then Rollins called Heyman out for not being on either Punk nor Reigns side. He said that Roman Reigns doesnt give a damn about Heyman, as he left for so long without coming to save him. He also called Punk out for not helping Heyman during the time when Solo Sikoas Bloodline was tormenting him, while bringing up how Punk walked out of WWE for 10 years.
Seth Rollins then encouraged Paul Heyman to set out of WrestleMania 41 all together, so the triple threat match wouldnt have anything to do with him. Heyman said he cant do that and Rollins said he would take it as a privilege to remove Heyman from the situation. Rollins said that it would be easy, all it would take is one Stomp from the Visionary.
Then Rollins started to push Paul Heyman, and then he slapped him. He asked Heyman how much are you worth over and over again. Finally, Heyman snapped at Rollins, saying dont put your damn hands on me again! Seth started to back Heyman into the corner, and then CM Punks music hit and he ran racing to the ring.
Rollins and Punk brawled all over the ringside area after that. Rollins took a bump into the ring steps and the Punk placed Rollins on the top step before he ran to hit a stomp, but Rollins moved. Then Punk slid in the ring and Rollins met him with a stomp.
Paul Heyman was checking on CM Punk, and Rollins acted like he was going to stomp him. Rollins didnt stomp Heyman, but he did stop to say, now you owe me a favor. This was certainly an intense segment to cap off WWE RAW this week.
