AEW star Harley Cameron isnt just rocking the mic and the ringshes also turning heads with her unforgettable name. But now, shes revealing exactly where that name came from, and the inspiration might surprise you.
During an appearance on Talk Is Jericho, Cameron told Chris Jericho that her wrestling name was born from a mix of admiration and pure chaos. Ive always liked the name Cameron for a girl. I dont know why. I think I had a little gay crush on Cameron Diaz. Shes gorgeous, she confessed.
But thats only half the story. Her first name? A straight-up nod to one of pop cultures most chaotic icons. Everyone said my wacky and zany nature was reminiscent of Harley Quinn, she explained. I feel like its an obvious wink at that. My craziness was kind of on par with that character. I just mixed it together. That sounds good.
