Many wrestlers in AEW and ROH put in a lot of effort to entertain fans, but injuries are always a part of the job. One AEW star has been off TV for quite a while, and its now been revealed that they recently had surgery during their time away.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Peter Avalon underwent shoulder surgery last week. Hes currently recovering, and fans are obviously giving him their best wishes right now.

Peter Avalon signed with AEW in April 2019 and made his debut at Fyter Fest on June 29 of that year, accompanying Leva Bates during her match as part of their Librarian gimmick. Avalon later became active in Ring of Honor, starting in 2023. He teamed with Ryan Nemeth on the May 18, 2023, episode of ROH on HonorClub in a losing match against the Iron Savages, and went on to appear regularly on ROH programming.

Avalons most recent appearance in Ring of Honor was on the October 26, 2024, episode, where he challenged Atlantis Jr. for the ROH World Television Championship but wasnt able to win the match.

AEW hasnt shared an official update about when Peter Avalon will be back, but fans have been showing their support online. Right now, theres no set date for his return, but many are hoping hell be back in the ring soon, healthy and ready to perform again.
