Ric Flair is finally speaking out after that personal and controversial promo between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton aired on WWE SmackDownand he made it clear, he didnt love what went down.

The segment, which included Tiffany taking jabs at Charlottes divorces and referencing Ric directly, sparked immediate backstage reaction and fan debate. Charlotte clapped back with a now-viral line about Ludwig Kaiser being in her DMs. But now, Rics weighing in and clearing up what he really thought.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, The Nature Boy kept it real. I have an opinion, but I dont really want to voice it. I can say this, its very sensitive. I didnt like it, but wrestling is wrestling, Flair admitted.

Flair specifically wasnt happy that he was used as part of the promo. I hate when they use me, but Charlotte said it rightyou think thats the first time hearing my name? he added.

He then doubled down on his admiration for his daughters ability, refusing to let anyone take away from her in-ring talent. She is ten times the athlete that I am. So much better of a worker than I ever was. I cant do half the things that she does, Flair said. Shes 511 and weighs 145 pounds. She works so hard.

When asked about how things used to be back in the day with legends like Terry Funk and Dusty Rhodes, Ric made it clear there were certain lines they never crossed. Family was never brought up, he said. It never happened. Im 0-4. There is a reason Im 0-4. When youre gone six months at a time, people say, Why did you get married when youre gone?

He also responded to speculation that Charlotte might not have known Tiffany would bring up her personal life during the promo. I dont know the answer to that. I would assume there was no discussion of that before, but I dont have any idea. Im not privy to know that. I would imagine they probably didnt discuss it.

And when Busted Opens David LeGreca and Bully Ray asked whether anything good came from the segment, Flair had a blunt response. Well, theyre talking about it. They are certainly talking about it now, at the expense of Ashleys personal feelings. Wrestling is a strange animal.

Rics initial tweet from earlier in the week tried to separate himself from the controversy, but this new update proves he definitely has feelings about how his daughters personal life was dragged into the ringespecially when he wasnt thrilled about being brought into it either.
