One of the biggest golf tournaments, the Masters, starts tomorrow, and the excitement is at its peak, no doubt about that.
Max Homa will certainly be one of the main figures of this tournament, attracting special attention after the split with the caddy, Joe Greiner.
Namely, he and Greiner ended the cooperation after several years, and what's ever more interesting; Greiner had no problem finding a job soon after that.
He will become Justin Thomas' new caddy.
Although the golfing public believe that Homa had decided to make changes due to his poor form, the famous American golfer admitted that he wasn't initiating this decision.

The experienced golfer had a friendly relationship with his caddy, and even before they started working together, they agreed that they would have a certain amount of freedom regarding their decisions.
"It was not my choice, so it sucked," Homa said, as quoted by The Fresno Bee.
"But we always had a deal that we're friends first, and friendship mattered more than the work thing, and he was wise enough to do what he did."
What can we expect?
Justin Thomas, unlike Max Homa, is doing amazing this season, showing signs of having one of the best seasons of his career. Playing in eight tournaments this season, Justin has finished in the Top 10 four times, with two runner-up finishes.
Homa stressed in a media interview that it is difficult to accept such an outcome, quite frustrated because he has to continue his career without his friend and caddie.

"It sucks because I just pictured always walking fairways with Joe," Homa said.
"But again, that was not the deal. I would rather walk life with Joe forever than this dumb game."
It will be interesting to see what Homa can do without his longtime caddie.
