Skye Blue made a lot of progress in AEW over the years, but everything came to a sudden stop after she got injured during the July 20, 2024 episode of AEW Collision. Since then, fans have been wondering when shell be back in the ring, and now Blue has confirmed she is able to walk again, which is definitely a positive sign.
While speaking during a virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest, Skye Blue provided an update on her condition, revealing that shes working hard on her recovery and hopes to return soon.
Blue explained that rehabbing an ankle injury is hard, especially in her case, where her ankle was completely disconnected from her leg. Skye said shes improving every day and is staying positive.
Blue also confirmed that she is able to walk again, which is a big step forward, especially after a time when she couldnt and had to scoot up the stairs. While she doesnt have an exact return date yet, shes doing everything she can to get back in the ring.
This comes after Skye Blue previously made it clear she was still not cleared for an in-ring return. With her determination and steady recovery, its only a matter of time before Skye Blue is back in the AEW ring, doing what she loves most. Therefore, well have to see if she can return this year as fans want to see her back as soon as possible.
