GUNTHER has been with WWE for several years and has mostly been shown as a strong and dominant Superstar during his time there. Its now clear he plans to stay with the company for a long time, as he has confirmed that he signed a new contract with WWE.
During an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, GUNTHER confirmed that he signed a new contract with WWE at the end of last year. He also mentioned that a tour bus was part of the deal, something he specifically requested.
GUNTHER explained that if you dont ask for things, you might not get them, so he made sure to include it in the agreement, saying, I signed a new contract and [A tour bus] was part it. I asked for that. What you dont ask for, you dont get. When asked about the timing of his new WWE contract, GUNTHER said he signed it at the end of last year, saying, End of last year.
This comes after it was previously reported last year that GUNTHER was finalizing a multi-year contract with WWE. This new contract shows that WWE plans to keep GUNTHER as a key part of their future. It also shows that GUNTHER trusts the companys leadership and the direction theyre heading in.
GUNTHER signing a new deal is a big win for WWE, especially as they focus on international stars and long-term stories. With his contract locked in and a tour bus added to the deal, GUNTHER is clearly set to be a major part of WWEs future. Hes now preparing to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Title against Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41, so well have to see how he will fare at the Showcase of the Immortals.
