WWE has seen major changes in leadership recently, with Triple H taking over as Head of Creative and Nick Khan serving as President. Under their guidance, the company has gone through a big transformation. With that in mind, Nick Khan has now made it clear that WWE wont let social media influence what happens on television.
While speaking at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nick Khan stated that he believes its best not to let social media influence what appears on TV. Khan said that trying to react to every online comment is a mistake and that the company should trust its instincts when making creative decisions, saying, We wont respond to social media. Its a mistake to respond to that. We have to trust our gut.
In 2025, wrestling fans can watch shows in many different ways and talk about them online right away. Social media is a big part of this, with people quickly sharing what they think.
Some wrestlers join in and reply to fans, sometimes saying thanks, other times standing up for themselves. Other wrestlers stay quiet and just focus on what they do in the ring. Either way, social media has become a big part of how fans and wrestlers connect.
Nonetheless, Nick Khan made it clear that WWE will follow its own creative plans instead of changing things based on what people say on social media. Even though online comments are important, WWE wants to focus on long-term stories. Social media is still useful for talking with fans, but it wont decide what happens on TV and thats unlikely to change anytime soon.
