Mercedes Mone is stepping back into the ringand the stakes just got real.
AEW has confirmed that the April 16 episode of Dynamite: Spring Breakthru will feature a massive Owen Hart Cup Tournament semifinal clash, with Mercedes Mone set to face either Harley Cameron or Athena. That match-up will be determined after the two square off on the April 12 edition of Collision.
This will mark Mones first match since her win over Julia Hart at AEW Dynasty, where she advanced in the tournament with a dominant showing. With the finals now in sight, all eyes are on who will step up to challenge one of the most talked-about stars in the AEW womens division.
AEW is clearly treating the Owen Hart Cup Tournament like a proving ground for some of the companys biggest namesand with Mone now one match away from the final, its go time.
