Ring of Honor is known for featuring some of the best wrestlers in the world, but every now and then, the company brings in special guests for one-time appearances that might lead to more down the line. In fact, it appears that a WCW legend made their debut during the latest set of ROH tapings in Baltimore this week.
As seen during the ROH tapings held in Baltimore this week, WCW legend Claymore made his debut for the company, where he faced off against Lance Archer in singles competition. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to beat Archer but fans were obviously happy to see Crowbar.
Following his debut, Crowbar shared his excitement on Twitter. He expressed his love for pro wrestling and reflected on his 34-year career, saying hes been able to do many great things he never expected. Crowbar called his ROH appearance another blessing to be grateful for and thanked Tony Khan, Ring of Honor, and AEW for the opportunity.
Crowbar also made a one-off appearance under the AEW banner in 2021, where he faced off against Joey Janela in singles competition on AEW Dark: Elevation.
Crowbars debut in ROH may have ended with a loss, but for both fans and the veteran himself, it felt like a win. Whether this was just a one-time appearance or the start of more, Crowbar showed that true legends never really disappear and fans would love to see him back.
