ACH wont be stepping back into the ring as planned.

On April 10, ASE Wrestling confirmed that the previously announced match between ACH and Leon Slater at the April 17 ASE Vegas event is officially canceled. The company noted that ACH will no longer appear at the event and did not provide further details, only stating the decision was made due to privacy concerns.

The promotion added that fans who purchased tickets specifically to see ACH are eligible for refunds. We hope to revisit this match in the future, ASE wrote in their brief announcement.

This was supposed to mark ACHs first match since July 2024a return that had generated some quiet excitement in the indie scene. But for some longtime fans and promoters, the cancellation might not be all that shocking.

ACH, who briefly competed in WWE under the ring name Jordan Myles, became a breakout star in NXT after winning the 2019 NXT Breakout Tournament. However, his WWE run quickly unraveled after he publicly criticized a racially insensitive t-shirt design created by the company. In a series of heated social media posts, ACH accused WWE of racism and declared he was quitting the company, tweeting I refuse to work for racists. WWE removed him from their website shortly after, and he was officially released soon after that.

While many praised him for speaking out, others began to question his reliability after a series of last-minute cancellations across various independent promotions in the months that followed. One promoter, speaking under anonymity back in 2021, shared that ACH had become a gamble to book, citing instances of him pulling out of events with minimal explanation.

ACH later wrestled sporadically for GCW, MLW, NJPW, and other indie promotions but never quite regained the momentum he once had in WWE NXT.

For now, ASE Wrestling is respecting his privacy. But fans are already voicing frustration onlineespecially given his long absence and now, another canceled return.

Do you think ACH deserves another chance to reclaim his place in wrestling? Or have too many missed opportunities left fans and promoters hesitant? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
