Ahead of Hausers big PROGRESS Wrestling debut on April 17, the Hollywood A-lister sent in a personal video message hyping up his friends performance and journey in the squared circle. Paul Walter Hauser is absolutely killing it, Pratt said, proudly praising the actor-turned-wrestlers rapid growth in the sport. Im so excited to watch him step into that PROGRESS Wrestling ring and do what hes been doing all yeartear it up.
Hauser will challenge for the PROGRESS Proteus Championship in a five-way scramble match that includes Adam Priest, Effy, Simon Miller, and Charles Crowley. Its a stacked lineup for the Thursday night eventand one thats now drawing even more attention thanks to Pratts endorsement.
Fans know Hauser from roles in Cobra Kai, Richard Jewell, and countless other film and TV projectsbut in 2025, hes been making a different kind of noise. Hes already competed in MLW, DEFY Wrestling, ACTION Wrestling, and Wrestling REVOLVER, proving hes not just playing wrestlerhes putting in the work.
