Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are getting ready to drop some truth bombsand one of them is aimed squarely at Dwayne The Rock Johnson.
The Good Brothers are relaunching their Talkn Shop podcast on May 7, and while the full episode hasnt dropped yet, the duo is already raising eyebrows with a preview that calls out The Rock in a big way. Anderson, who once idolized the WWE legend, made it clear that those feelings have changed since The Rock stepped into a corporate role within WWE.
The Rock was always on my Mount Rushmore. I wouldve put four Rockys on Mount Rushmore, Anderson said. But maybe, just maybe, he might be chiseled off that Mount Rushmore now theres just a little bit of disappointment.
Anderson didnt go into full detailyetbut he hinted that things hes seen behind the scenes since The Rocks WWE board involvement have shifted his entire perception. Hes obviously the greatest star in Hollywood but now that hes clearly on the Board and hes running the WWE, right? Its clear, he added, trailing off in frustration.
Gallows backed him up, saying corporate wrestling changes everything and teasing that they know a lot of sht that we probably shouldnt*and theyre ready to talk about it.
Anderson also called out a moment that made him feel completely disconnected from the current WWE culture: When I saw people running up to The Rock backstage at Gorilla and ask for pictures in the Gorilla, in Gorilla! I was like, I gotta get out. This aint for me, brah.
Whatever went down, its clear The Rocks presence backstage didnt impress everyone. Gallows and Anderson seem ready to break their silenceand possibly stir up a stormwith their full comments when the podcast drops.
Are you shocked by The Good Brothers turning on The Rock? Do you think theyre justified in how they feelor are they just bitter? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
