Tessa Blanchard is set to challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Championship that Masha Slamovich currently holds at TNA Rebellion in a few weeks. In an effort to make it more personal, Blanchard decides to travel out to New York City to pay a visit to Slamovichs old mentor, Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz.
Slamovich rushes out to New York City but is too late as she finds out that Blanchard had put Rodz in the hospital.
There was no Knockouts match this week on iMPACT! On April 17 at Unbreakable, Slamovich will team up with TNA World Champion Joe Hendry to take on Blanchard and Frankie Kazarian.
