Butterbean wants all the smokeand hes aiming it directly at Brock Lesnar.
The 58-year-old boxing icon, who once knocked out Bart Gunn in WWEs infamous Brawl for All finale, is mounting a shocking comeback and has now set his sights on The Beast Incarnate. Speaking to Undisputeds Justin Barrasso, Butterbean didnt pull any punches.
Thats a bold callout, especially from someone who was in a wheelchair just a few years ago. But the heavyweight slugger says hes transformed his life. With help from former WCW legend Diamond Dallas Page, Butterbean is back on his feet and training hard.
I wasnt even walking before, and now Im doing what I enjoy, he said. If you believe in yourself, you can do anything. Just wait and see what I do next.
Hes lost weight, returned to a regular training schedule, and seems more motivated than ever to prove hes still got the knockout power that once made him a household name.
Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar has remained completely silent on the challenge. The former WWE and UFC champion has kept a low profile since being named in Janel Grants lawsuit involving Vince McMahon and others. Lesnar was last spotted at a steakhouse in Austin, Texas, where he gave a cryptic answer when asked about a potential return: Well see.
Whether or not this unlikely fight ever happens, Butterbean is already making headlinesand showing fans its never too late for a comeback.
