20. AZM 22yo STARDOM
AZM, also known as Azumi, started her career at the age of 11. Yes, you read that correctly. In STARDOM, AZM made her initial debut in 2013 at just the age of 11 and now at the age of 22, she is already a highly decorated talent. She has been a part of popular stable Queens Quest and currently in Neo Genesis.
AZM hasnt reached top success in STARDOM with its singles championships, however, she is very well suited in both trios matches as a four-time Artist of Stardom Champion. She also is a two-time High Speed Champion known for her high flying and fast matches. The High Speed Title had been previously held by names such as Io Shirai, Mayu Iwatani, Kris Wolf, Hazuki, Riho, and more.
The 22-year-old has been working towards more singles gold but has not been able to attain it. She has challenged for the IWGP Womens Title (against then- champion Mercedes Mone and Hazuki), and against the current champion, Miyu Iwatani. She also challenged for the NJPW STRONG Womens Title (against then-champion Stephanie Vaquer). She has made recent appearances in 2024 in ROH and AEW despite spending most of her career in STARDOM and Japan.
The future is bright for AZM and perhaps eventually coming over to the United States or another country will give her extra experience out of Japan if that time comes.
AZM is set to challenge Mina Shirakawa on April 11. The winner will be the next challenger for Mercedes Mones NJPW STRONG Womens Title.
