The drama between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton has officially spilled beyond the ringand this time, it wasnt during a scripted segment. Just 30 minutes before the April 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown went live from Seattle, a video started making the rounds online showing Flair physically attacking Stratton in the parking lot outside the venue.
In the footage, two security guards are seen struggling to restrain Flair as she tries to get her hands on Stratton, whos down on the pavement screaming, Get off me! Charlotte would then take Tiffany and throw her head first into the red SUV. The video quickly flooded social media, setting fans into a frenzy just ahead of WWEs big WrestleMania 41 go-home show.
While its unclear if this was part of a planned storyline but most likely is, it sure adds fuel to the already scorching fire between the two. As previously reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, some backstage believe Flair has been trying to rattle Tiffany ever since the now-infamous April 4 promo went completely off-script. One WWE source even accused Flair of trying to embarrass Tiffany instead of playing her original babyface role.
Despite the chaos, WWE isnt backing down from the planned WrestleMania match between Flair and Stratton. As Fightful Select confirmed, The creative direction hasnt changed in that regard. The bout is still locked in for Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
