WWE Women's Tag Team Title Match Set For WrestleMania 41

The Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington played host to WWE SmackDown this week. During the show, a tag team gauntlet match went down to determine new #1 contenders for the WWE Womens Tag Team Titles.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez sat at ringside as they watched on. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria were the first to come out, and then Pure Fusion Collective came out next to start the match. After wrestling for a bit, Lyra got a pin on Baszler to take them out. Then Natalya and Maxxine Dupri came out to join the match.

After the two teams wrestled through a commercial break, Bayley got a pinfall on Maxxine Dupri. Then it was Kayden Carter and Katana Chances turn to join the match. However, Lyra was able to pin Chance after hitting a Nightwing.

Michin and B-Fab came into the match next, and the two teams got started during a commercial break. Then Bayley was able to take out B-Fab after a Rose Plant. Then Alba Fyre and Piper Niven came out to join the match next.

Piper Niven and Alba Fyre were the final team in the gauntlet match, and they were looking to take out Bayley and Lyra, who had fought through the whole thing. As they battled, the show went to another commercial break. After taking a ton of abuse, Bayley got the hot tag to Lyra, who was eventually stopped by Piper.

Eventually, Lyra pulled off a powerbomb to Piper Niven to the outside of the ring. That took her out as Lyra was left to battle her opponents alone. Eventually, Lyra and Bayley finished off Alba to win the match and earn a #1 contender spot at WrestleMania.

We will have to see who walks out of WrestleMania as Womens Tag Team Champions. At least we know what the match looks like this year, and it was quite a gauntlet match to determine that contest.
