A Twitter account recently claimed that AEW is planning to let the contracts of Abadon and Nick Comoroto expire. The report was credited to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, sparking reactions from fans online, as the account said, AEW is reportedly planning on letting #Abadon and #NickComorotos contracts expire. Abadon saw the claim as she took to Twitter and responded to the same. She stated that she couldnt wait to make her own announcement, saying, Man I cant WAIT to make my own announcement. Abadon made it clear that fans shouldnt believe the gossip unless it comes directly from her. Her tweet left fans curious about what she has planned, hinting that her future might not be as uncertain as the rumors suggest.
Abadon last competed against Rachael Ellering on the February 8, 2025 edition of Ring of Honor programming and she hasnt competed on AEW television since December 2023, where she competed in a TBS Championship House Rules match against Julia Hart at Worlds End.
Although Abadon hasnt been in the ring much lately, fans believe the living nightmare is not ready to disappear just yet. Fans are eagerly waiting to hear her announcement, wondering whats next for her in AEW, as many believe she might be planning a big return or could be heading in a new direction with her career.
