Drew McIntyre has consistently been one of the most entertaining and engaging characters on WWE TV over the past year, but many fans feel his booking hasnt reflected that. In fact, it appears that hes been left off the latest WrestleMania 41 poster, a move that some see as a major snub.
WrestleMania 41 will be taking place on April 19th and 20th and with just a few days remaining, WWE decided to release a new poster to build up hype for the Showcase of the Immortals. The new poster featured Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns front and center, with several other stars in the background, including Bayley, John Cena, CM Punk and more.
However, what many fans found shocking was the fact that Drew McIntyre was noticeably absent from the poster despite the fact that he has a match at WrestleMania 41 against Damian Priest. Whats even more bizarre is the fact that Nia Jax is on the poster despite not being on the card for the show.
The snub created immediate backlash online, with many fans calling it disrespectful. Social media was filled with comments criticizing the poster, as a lot of people felt Drew McIntyre deserved much more recognition for his work over the past year.
Whether it was an honest mistake or done on purpose, no one really knows. But one things for sure, Drew McIntyres fans are making their voices heard. Regardless, fans are hoping McIntyre gets better booking after WrestleMania 41, as many feel he more than deserves a proper World Title reign.
