Randy Orton isnt just looking aheadhes looking back. And theres one name on his list before either of them calls it a career: John Cena.
In a new interview with Complex, Orton opened up about whats left on his WWE bucket list, and he didnt hesitate when the name Cena came up.
With Cena currently booked to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 and teasing his retirement, time might be running out for that final chapter between the two legends. Orton and Cena have clashed in nearly every stipulation imaginableIron Man, TLC, Hell in a Cellbut its been years since they shared the ring. And according to Orton, the story they built is one worth revisiting.
Their last televised singles match came in 2017. Since then, Cenas gone part-time and Orton dealt with serious back issues that nearly ended his career. But now Orton is back, fully healthy, and under a fresh five-year WWE deal he signed in 2024. And if the stars align, he wants to run it back with the 16-time world champion one final time.
WWE hasnt confirmed anything yet, but WrestleMania season is known for surprises. Could we see Cena vs. Orton one more time in 2025? Ortons game if Cena is.
