Injuries are a common part of professional wrestling, and AEW has had its share over the years. Brian Cage is the latest wrestler to deal with an injury, and it appears that he recently had knee surgery because of it.
The Machine took to his Instagram story and uploaded a photo of his knee following surgery, showing that he only just recently went under the knife and is now already on the road to recovery.
In a follow-up video, Brian Cage talked about how good it felt to be back in the gym after his knee surgery. While he was working out, someone told him he was the most muscular guy in Vegas. That made him feel good, even though he knew he looked better a few weeks ago.
Before the surgery, when he was still going to the gym with a brace on his leg, another person asked if he was getting ready for a bodybuilding show. He appreciated the compliment but told them no, because of how his leg looked.

This comes after Brian Cage injured his knee on March 20th during an independent wrestling event. Because of the injury, he couldnt compete at AEW Dynasty, where he and Lance Archer were originally scheduled to face The Hurt Syndicate.
Fans are definitely looking forward to seeing Brian Cage return to the ring, especially with how competitive the AEW roster is right now. As always, The Machine is showing that setbacks are just a setup for a strong comeback, and well have to see when he makes his in-ring return.
