The April 14th edition of Monday Night Raw was the go-home edition of the show before WrestleMania 41 and WWE made sure to include a lot of solid segments to build towards the Premium Live Event. This included both GUNTHER and Jey Uso cutting serious promos to solidify their feud before WrestleMania 41, and now the identity of the person behind both promos has been revealed.
According to a report by Fightful Select, GUNTHER and Jey Usos intense promos were written by none other than Chad Barbash, who has been responsible for most of Monday Night Raws most memorable promos lately.
In GUNTHERs promo, he said he was the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all time. He told Jey Uso to stick out his chest and walk into WrestleMania with more confidence than ever, because at the end of the day, the bell had to ring. GUNTHER said Jey Uso wouldnt even be able to lace up his boots after he beat him again.
The Ring General also said that in his 37 years, he had never lost control like Jey did with Jimmy. GUNTHER ended by saying he looked forward to telling everyone next week that he beat Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41 and kept his World Heavyweight Championship. Then, he threw the mic and left the ring.
In Jey Usos promo, he said he already talked to GUNTHER last week, but this time he wanted to speak to the fans. He shared that his mom was in the crowd and people kept asking how he was feeling. Jey said he was feeling a little overwhelmed, but he was focusedfor himself, his family, and everyone watching.
Uso said after hearing GUNTHER talk, it seemed like GUNTHER was both angry and scared that Jey might beat him and become World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania. Jey ended by saying hell see GUNTHER on Saturday night. His music played again, and Michael Cole mentioned that 60,000 fans would be shouting yeet at WrestleMania. Jey Uso then walked out through the crowd to a ton of cheers.
GUNTHER and Jey Uso have taken their rivalry to the next level with intense promos, building up to what promises to be an exciting match at WrestleMania 41. With the stakes growing higher, fans are eagerly waiting to see who will emerge as the World Heavyweight Champion after the event this week.
