CM Punk and Seth Rollinshave a lot of bad blood between them, and its clear they will never be done with each other. They have faced each other numerous times in WWE, but now it seems that Rollins is willing to square off against CM Punk in an MMA bout.
While speaking on Outta Pocket RGIII, Seth Rollins was asked if he would actually fight CM Punk in an MMA bout. He responded that he would, saying hes not about to storm Punks locker room and start throwing punches, but if Dana White wanted to book a fight between the two of them, then Rollins would be open to it.
Rollins said he would put on the gloves and give it a go, even if it ended up being the only MMA fight he ever did. He made it clear that he wouldnt be interested in fighting anyone else in his weight class, but for Punk, hed make the exception. He even said that if Dana White wanted to make some money, he should book the fight.
Rollins added that with a few months of preparation and a proper training camp, he feels like he could hold his own. With both WWE and UFC under the TKO umbrella now, Rollins pointed out that something like this could actually happen.
A potential MMA fight between CM Punk and Seth Rollins could be the crossover spectacle that fans didnt know they needed. While it remains to be seen if that fight will ever happen, in the meantime, CM Punk is set to face off against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. Fans will have to wait and see who comes out on top in that match first.
