Appearing on the Outta Pocket with RGIII podcast, Rollins opened up about the behind-the-scenes shift in WWE since Triple H took over as Chief Content Officer. And while he never said Vince McMahons name outright, the shot was crystal clear.
Its a rare public comment from one of WWEs top stars that flat-out calls attention to how chaotic things used to be under McMahons rule. While many insiders have whispered about Vinces last-minute rewrites and on-the-fly decisions, Rollins put it out there with no sugarcoating.
He went on to say the biggest creative upgrade under Triple H has been a noticeable drop in those eleventh-hour changes.
Rollins debuted under McMahons leadership and became one of WWEs biggest names. But with Triple H now calling the creative shots, he seems more comfortable than ever. The long-term storytelling approach has been a breath of fresh air for many on the rosterand Rollins just made that clear.
