Mark Henry has zero interest in lacing up the boots one last timeand he wants everyone to get the message loud and clear.

In a new interview with Poker Scout, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked if hed consider stepping back into the ring for a tag team match with his son, Jacob Henry. His response couldnt have been more blunt: Hell no. If somebody asks me, Ill call the police!

Henry didnt hesitate to shut down the idea, not even for a sentimental father-and-son match. While many wrestling legends return for one final run or farewell moment, Henry made it clear that ship has sailedand sunk.

Im done, mightve been enough, but Henry went further, throwing in the 911 threat just to hammer the point home. Its a hard no, even though his son is currently training and preparing for his own wrestling career. Henry has previously said Jacob could be ready for WWE in about three years, and hes fully committed to helping from behind the scenesnot inside the ropes.

This latest update comes after Henrys recent comments about his exit from AEW in May 2024. While he spent three years with the company in a backstage and part-time on-screen role, Henry hinted at unresolved issues behind the scenes that played a big part in his departure.

You know what? I had a good time at AEW despite the fact there were a couple of incidents that I wont talk about unless they start talking about it, Henry said. If they start talking about it, then Im going to blast them because those were issues that related to me leaving.

He stopped short of naming names, but the warning was clear: theres more he could say if anyone wants to push it.

Despite those issues, Henry said he still holds respect for the talent at AEW. I met a lot of really cool people, some unbelievable talent. And I have a lot of respect for people in that organization and I wish them well.

Following his AEW departure, Henry revealed that licensing conflictsparticularly with Fanaticscost him money while he was unaffiliated. I lost money because I was not with the company, he explained. So we went to the negotiation table and here I am.

Now back with WWE, Henry seems content with his current role and focused entirely on mentoring his sons path in the industry. But when it comes to stepping back into a ring? That chapter is over, and hes not letting anyone rewrite it.

Do you respect Mark Henry for staying retired, or would you like to see him share the ring with his son at least once? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
