The countdown to this years WrestleMania is in full swing. WrestleMania 41 takes place on the weekend of April 19 and 20. 52 (really 55) matches in the history of WrestleMania include women. Diva Dirt will countdown two matches daily to rank all 52 leading up to this years event. You can check out the full list so far at the bottom of this article.

10. WrestleMania 35
Winner Takes All: Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey (c) Raw Womens Championship and SmackDown Womens Championship
I have a lot to say about this match. It wasnt bad by any means, and yes the end was botched. It is memorable, maybe for some bad reasons but also it being the first time women main evented WrestleMania. The thing is, the build to this really shot everyone in the foot here. It was very convoluted to get to what we got.
Asuka had to drop the SmackDown Womens Title to Charlotte. Becky, who won the Royal Rumble, was at some point no longer in the Mania match somehow. Then she was put back in and won itthe whole thing was what?
And when it comes down to it, many think/feel the only reason why the women main evented was because of Rousey. Because of her appeal and star power. This is no shade to Rousey at all, but she was not needed to main event a WrestleMania. You had Charlotte and Becky, and Asuka, and all of these other big names who could have simply done it without her. It is just weird how much weight they put on the idea of Rousey having to be around for big moments over the wrestlers that had been there for years.
Charlotte arriving in a helicopter though, I mean come onthat was an entrance.
9. WrestleMania 38
Sasha Banks & Naomi defeated Carmella & Queen Zelina (c), Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley, and Natalya & Shayna Baszler WWE Womens Tag Team Championships
Just a fun match that had to crowd eating it up!!! Liv and Rhea did so good here and I was slightly surprised they never won gold as a tag team. The ending of Sasha getting the pin still gives me chills just watching it back. What a fun moment.
