Omos hasnt been seen on WWE television since returning from his month-long run in Japanand the latest update is that there really isnt one.

The 73 giant was coming off what many considered the strongest in-ring stretch of his career during his recent stint with Pro Wrestling NOAH. He traveled to Japan at the start of 2024, where he competed throughout January and reportedly made a solid impression with both fans and officials.

At the end of the month, NOAH announced that Omos was headed back to WWE. But since then, he hasnt made a single appearance on WWE programming.

According to Fightful Select, theres no injury holding him back. Omos wasnt injured, and is ready to work and perform, the report noted. However, sources stated that he simply hasnt been brought up in creative discussions.

Omos has only worked televised battle royals since June 2023 and appeared in a handful of live events. Internally, WWE officials were reportedly impressed by his decision to head to Japan and praised the work he put in overseas.

A contact within NOAH also spoke positively about Omos, saying he left a good impression and that theyd imagine the company would be happy to have him back in the future.

As for why hes still off TV? Ringside News previously reported that Omos is classified as a special attraction talentmeaning WWE only uses him when theres a specific purpose or storyline that fits.

So while Omos is fully available, WWE appears to be keeping him on standby until the right opportunity comes up.

Should WWE be doing more with Omosor is he better off staying a special attraction? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know how youd book his return.
