Diva Dirt has kicked off our Top 30 Women Wrestlers Under 30 as of April 1. Below you will find links to the list so far as well as the newest name on the list.

15. Momo Watanabe 25yo STARDOM

Momo Watanabe made her debut for STARDOM at the age of 14 in late 2014. She is yet another young talent in STARDOM who has made a name for herself and just recently branched out to the United States.

Watanabe has belonged to three different stables since being with STARDOM. First was with Queens Quest as a former leader, Oedo Tai, and currently with H.A.T.E. She is a 2018 Cinderella Tournament winner and has a decorated career thus far being three-time Artist of Stardom Champion, a three-time Goddess of Stardom Champion, and holding the white belt Wonder of Stardom Championship one time. She defeated Io Shirai in 2018 for this title.

Watanabe has been searching for gold outside of STARDOM recently. She challenged Mercedes Mone on two separate occasions, once for the NJPW STRONG Womens Title last August and once for the AEW TBS Championship in March. She has come up short for both. She earned the TBS Title match after winning the co-promotion International Womens Cup.

Momo is another talent who could spread her wings anywhere she would want to go if she chose to wrestle outside of Japan.
