The April 16, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite took place at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts. The mens Owen Hart Foundation Tournament continued with the final quarterfinal match and the start of the semifinals.
Hangman Adam Page entered the match without knowing his opponent in advance. Josh Alexander then made his debut for AEW as the surprise opponent. Despite his surprise debut, Page was able to beat Alexander to advance in the tournament.
After the match was over, Josh Alexander jumped Hangman Page at the direction of Don Callis. All signs point toward Alexander joining the Don Callis Family at this point.
As Josh Alexander made his way to the ring, Tony Sciavone said on commentary how there were lots of rumors about what the Walking Weapon would do next. He was with TNA Wrestling for years, but that time in his career came to an end.
This was a big surprise to see Josh Alexander show up in AEW. Now it appears that he has made his decision about signing with AEW. It also didnt take long for Tony Khan to send out a tweet welcoming Alexander to AEW.
We will have to see what Josh Alexander does in AEW. At this point, it seems that he is starting things off with a lot of momentum.
