
The April 16, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite went down at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts. The mens Owen Hart Foundation Tournament continued, and now we have those results.
The 2025 Mens Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will continue through several events in April. The quarterfinals started at AEW Dynasty on April 6, where Will Ospreay defeated Kevin Knight. On the April 12 episode of Collision, Konosuke Takeshita picked up a win over Brody King. Also in the quarterfinals, Kyle Fletcher defeated Mark Briscoe.
Tonights episode of AEW Dynamite: Spring BreakThru on April 16 featured both the final quarterfinal match, where Hangman Adam Page will compete, and the first set of semifinal matches.
Will Ospreay took on Konosuke Takeshita in one semifinal bout. The winner of tonights other quarterfinal match will move on to face Kyle Fletcher in the semifinal. The tournament will conclude with the final match at Double or Nothing on May 25.
Hangman Page had no idea who his opponent would be this week, and didnt know how to prepare for the match either. That is when Josh Alexander made his big debut for the company. That being said, Hangman still beat the Walking Weapon before he jumped Page at the direction of Don Callis. Now, it appears that Alexander is going to join Callis family.
Will Ospreay took on Konosuke Takeshita after the Hurt Syndicates successful AEW World Tag Team Title defense this week. This match had fans at a fever pitch throughout the match, and neither competitor backed down an inch. Needless to say, there were a ton of near falls. In the end, Ospreay won the match to continue on in the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
